Drifter Carbon Tomahawk

The Drifter Tomahawk is an axe designed strictly for throwing. Weighing less than 500g, you can throw it all day without tiring your hand. The 6mm thickness is ideal for excellent throwing power and excellent penetration. Thanks to its lightened handle, the Drifter is balanced 8cm below the head, making it a “fast” axe to spin and gripping the target well after impact. The flat grind ensures good grip after impact—better than the convex point of a traditional axe. Based on the characteristics of Francisca-type throwing axes, the upturned point ensures the axe will penetrate the target with a frontal strike, even with too much spin. The rearward-tilted handle, without any undercuts, allows the axe to be released easily and reduces the impact of the handle hitting the target with a partial rotation. The tang, which extends beyond the well-fitted tang sleeves, means that when striking the handle, the tang is less exposed to force, and most of the impact is absorbed by the tang. The Drifter is made of spring steel hardened to 55 HRC for high impact strength and is suitable for throwing. It is also suitable for camp work.
